Originally written in 2000 and re-recorded (due to possible copyright problems) in August 2012, this track features keyboard and synth along with guitars, bass and drums etc and is slower and leaner than the 2000 version. The song is about frustration with our leaders; the lies and over-blown statements that they spout. The over-kill fuss that was made about the coming of the (wonder-full) new decade/millennium - and yet many, many, people in this country, and other parts of the world, were (and still are) being treated abhorrently by their government and the systems they forcefully operate. Still too many weapons of mass destruction and still the world is in economic and ecological recession!
I am planning to include an acoustic version of this track (with an extra verse) on a near-future album.
