about

Written and recorded in October 2012, this instrumental track is dedicated to a homeless, 'subway-dweller' in ultra-modern, Birmingham City. He had a dog which he would have to have put-down if he was to find somewhere to live and recieve state benefit. This subway is a couple of minutes walk from the Chamber Of Commerce and seconds away from hundreds of businesses. We gave him his first bit of cash that day and it was mid-day in winter. No one cared to even speak to him and yet he, and his dog, were very friendly. Just two more victims of circumstance and hard-faced, tight-fisted people.

about

JJ's Blues Project Birmingham, UK

JJ’s Blues Project: is an on-going, solo, blues-based concept that began on tape in 1998 (digital 2001). This is a sample of my work; I play all instruments and sing my own lyrics (I also created the artwork). All albums are recorded, mixed & mastered by me; away from my job as guitar, bass, keyboard, drum tutor and producer etc. Thanks for listening/ downloading. JJ. ... more
